With this novel service , PRS Critical Care aims to make state of the art critical cardiac care accessible to patients of peripheral hospitals , clinics , nursing homes with portable ECMO during the “Golden Hour” ⏰of Cardiac Arrest / Shock through Critical Outreach program ensuring equitable affordable cardiac care to patients in rural areas and peripheries.
Till date , through the critical outreach program , a novel initiative in Kerala and South Tamilnadu, PRS Critical Care team has managed more than 1000 critically Ill patients in association with peripheral clinics and nursing homes who are the real pillars of healthcare in our country.
The portable ECMO service will further bolster the capabilities of peripheral hospitals in providing cutting edge life saving services to one and all through PRS Critical Outreach Program.
